Nach unser zeitlich begrenzten Auszeit vom Berufsalltag verkaufen wir nun unsere für Langfahrt voll ausgestattete und segelfertige Bavaria 40-3 (Baujahr 2001 – von damals als die Bavarias noch robuster waren, z.b. kevlarverstärkter Bugbereich, Laminatverdopplung im Kielbereich...). Nach einem größeren Refit und einmal quer durch das Mittelmeer, besegeln wir momentan die Karibik. Technisch sind uns keine Mängel bekannt, wir würden mit einem guten Gefühl sofort offshore segeln gehen! Optisch ist das Boot in einem dem altern entsprechenden guten Zustand. Allerdings ging uns Sicherheit und Komfort immer vor Optik. Sprich der Rumpf ist nicht auf Hochglanz poliert, es gibt ein paar Schrammen und kleine Spannungsrisse im Gelcoat und die Fensterscheiben sehen nicht mehr schön aus (sind aber alle dicht). Das Boot sieht aber auch nicht abgerockt aus, da es nie im Charter war. Der zweite Besitzer (deutsch) hatte das Boot von 2004 bis 2021 und hat es alle paar Wochen in Kroatien nur für kleine Touren genutzt. Wir freuen uns auf eure Anfragen. After a major refit and once across the Mediterranean, we are currently sailing the Caribbean. Technically we are not aware of any defects, the boat is ready to go offshore! Visually, the boat is in a good condition corresponding to the age. However, safety and comfort always came before appearance. The hull is not polished to a high gloss, there are a few scratches and small stress cracks in the gelcoat and the windows no longer look nice (but are all tight). But the boat doesn't look rocked either, as it was never in the charter. The second owner (German) had the boat from 2004 to 2021 and used it every other month in Croatia only for small trips.
